Blawg Branding Q&A

Ernie recently had an interesting question for Marty about blawg branding. Marty's answer was admittedly short, but proffered an excellent analysis. I would only like to add that BLAWG, used as it is to describe the class of blogs known as law blogs, is probably at most descriptive (requiring secondary meaning) if not already generic.
