Griffis v. Luban II

Andrew Raff: "On the other hand, some posts can lead to very interesting and unexpected comments. For example, both parties to the case I discussed in this post carried on their online dispute here."

This is great. Andrew has provided a forum for the two to continue their debate.

Luban: "Whoever posted this needed to check their facts. Griffis was never and is not now a member of the faculty of the University of Alabama. How does she get to be a "professor"? From time to time, Griffis has taught non-credit, adult education classes in their "Special Studies" department. Nowhere in the long record of Griffis v. Luban is there any mention of Griffis having a degree relative to Egyptology."

Griffis: "For the record: I am an instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, UAB Options/Special Studies, and have been since 1980. This is a separate institution from the University of Alabama (located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama)."
