Spam Laws May be Coming to New York

New Yorkers Face Off in Spam Spat: "S.O. 1680 is scheduled for hearing this week by the New York state Senate Consumer Protection Committee. The pending New York law states that charges against spammers would be filed by the state's Public Service Commission, not by individual recipients of Spam."
