Companies team up to stave off porn@kids.us

glazed doughnutsuntanned breastThe development of the new kids.us domain poses challenges for even the most advanced spidering technology, which has limited ability to distinguish content appropriate for children from pornography or other adult content: "[t]here is no automated way to differentiate between a glazed doughnut and a suntanned breast," posited  a former spider software developer.  "Sooner or later the nipples are going to start falling through the cracks," said another commentator.
