NC Students Want Identities to Remain Hidden from the RIAA

newsobserver.com: "The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, which governs student records, does not allow the disclosure of a student's identity if the subpoena is not valid, and this one was filed in the wrong place, the motion states. NCSU is located in the federal court's eastern district, and therefore should have been filed in Raleigh, not Greensboro, according to the motion."
