Is SCO being funded by Microsoft?

SCO internal e-mail reveals Microsoft is funding their war against Linux/Unix. [via Waxy] and Steven J. Vaughan at eWEEK.com informed opensource.org that SCO had confirmed that the memo is legitimate. See also Wired.

The SCO Group filed two lawsuits Wednesday against AutoZone and DaimlerChrysler to force them and other companies into complying with copyright laws and SCO's software agreements. Plus they are sending letters to lots of other companies requesting they license Linux to avoid litigation and some are signing on.
