WIPO treaty designed to "protect" broadcasters

Techdirt nicely summarizes Ernest Miller's take on the draft Broadcast Flag Treaty: "In other words, if you want to have control over content that you don't own the copyright to (say, for example, stuff that's in the public domain), you just need to broadcast it, and it's all yours under this treaty."
