Great NYC Site

New York Songlines provides an interactive map of Manhattan that offers historical comments for many addresses when pertient or mention what is currently there. It looks like they're up to 42nd street. (Thanks Dan.)

Of specific interest to me is that police battled mobs at the corner of 19th and 1st during the 1863 Draft Riots. Oh, because I lived at that corner from 1996 to 2000.
