How-to: Create Fan Sites

Denise Howell offers a link to an article on Fan Web Sites and Copyright Enforcement [pdf] in this month's Los Angeles Lawyer. I believe she was reading it during a trip to the manicurist. A mother's day gift perhaps.

I imagine a must read for ip attorneys, but probably not a bad one either for obsessed groupies. Once you've got the copyright issues down, another good read is probably my Young Cybersquatters Handbook to review the trademark issues, in combination with postings on recent domain name cases from the 5th and 6th circuits.
