INDUCE Act (IICA) Senate Hearing today

Ed Felten posts that today's hearing on the Induce Act will be webcast (link) at 2:00 PM Eastern time (for those listening live he's hosting a discussion in his comments). Ernest Miller has the witness list posted here.

I must express my disappointment with the fact that NY Senator Hillary Clinton has joined on as a co-sponsor and in fact sent her an email and a letter telling her so.

On June 22, I put together a list of some products that I thought could be used to violate copyrights and exploit children and thus potentially violate the INDUCE Act (IICA). These included : silly putty, iPods, usb radio, replaytv, vcr, wifi, scanners, the printing press, digital cameras and the shift key.

Shortly thereafter, Ernest Miller got Hatch's Hit List underway. Here's a list of the products he's covered so far:
