Homeland Security to meet with Chamber of Commerce

Intellectual Property Rights Roundtable featuring Nancy Sherman-Kratzer and David Faulconer from the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center of the Department of Homeland Security.

**This Event Is NOT Open To The Press.**
[ed.: does anyone know if this violates the Government in the Sunshine Act]

[via Declan / Politech]:
Never mind that government officials from the Department of Homeland Security are speaking today about matters of public interest relating to intellectual property. Never mind that the event is free.

The folks at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have decreed that it's only for copyright and other IP lobbyists -- and not members of the press, who might (gasp!) report on what government officials are saying or doing. (That would be a shame, wouldn't it?)
