Blawgs-Blawgs-Blawgs

Writing good blawgs means people asking you to write even more and some of them may even pay you for it.

Evan and Denise pointed out the Law.com blog network which includes The Volokh Conspiracy, May It Please The Court, I/P Updates, MyShingle.com, The [non]billable hour, Jottings by an Employer's Lawyer, Crime and Federalism and The Common Scold which has a neat url: blogs.law.com -- the main site, edited by Lisa Stone, will provide daily upates on and links to the latest legal insight from Law.com's network of bloggers. The bloggers will share a precentage of the revenue generated via the affilliate network.

Two patent attorneys, Stephen Nipper and Matt Buchanan, are now columnists for Law.com, writing on hot topics in IP law.

Finally, Evan Schaeffer of Notes from the Legal Underground asks What's the Use of this Weblog?? and responds that writing a weblog has led to a number of people (clients and publishers) asking him to write a whole bunch more stuff and offering to pay him for it.

Also, I just came across Media Law, which is a blawg about freedom of the press by Robert J. Ambrogi [rss] that all these bloggers should read to avoid trouble in their new writing ventures.
