Newspapers still trying to cease deep links

Ryan at The Dead Parrot Society points the way to the current brouhaha between the Tulsa World and blogger Michael Bates who received a pleasant cease and desist letter for "reproducing in whole or in part articles and/or editorials" and for "inappropriately link[ing my] website to Tulsa World content."
