Beta Blogger Better

Of course I have some issues with the new Blogger in Beta, but once they get the template kinks worked out, it will provide a nice new platform for bloggers. Not as robust a platform as what the new Blawgr is built on, but for those persons who continue the need to blog from a non-community based platform it offers several upgrades over the current Blogger platform.

The important upgrades include privacy settings for site and rss feeds, easier template manipulation for the HTML-illiterate, Categories - known as Labels is Google land, and the fact that blogger is now dynamically serving content which makes publishing a snap.

The template kink I referred to above is the inability to both edit the HTML and use the new wysiwyg template editor which work with the upgraded template designs and categories.
