Digital Music Licensing and §115 hearing

Yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee Subcommittee on Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual Property held an oversight hearing on Digital Music Licensing and Section 115 of the Copyright Act. The Subcommittee heard testimony from Wood Newton (Songwriter, Nashville, Tennessee), David Israelite (President and Chief Executive Officer, National Music Publishers' Association), Larry Kenswil (President, eLabs, Universal Music Group) and Jonathan Potter (Executive Director, Digital Media Association).
