Qualified candidates should have a background in Computer or Electrical Engineering, and Intellectual Property litigation - 2-5 years of IP litigation experience. Working in computer-related technology fields (software, hardware, networking), you will partner with our global client base in commercializing and strategically positioning their IP portfolios. Duties/Responsibilities
•Counseling in all intellectual property matters, especially, litigation, patentability, patent preparation and prosecution, freedom to practice and related matters.
•Patent litigation in electronics, computer systems, telecommunications, semiconductors and related products.
•Counsel clients in Intellectual Property law; patents; trademarks.
•Respond to clients and provide excellent documentation and progress reports regarding the status of the patent applications.
•Manage patent prosecution docket.
•Draft/ negotiate agreements and contracts.
•Monitor/Analyze competitive intellectual properties.
•Develop and implement strategic Intellectual Property initiative.
•Interacting with senior technical and business leaders.

Job Requirements
•Law degree from an accredited law school required; Undergraduate degree in engineering or related technical degree required.
•Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in patent litigation
•Demonstrated experience counseling senior business and technical staff and coordinating with other patent attorneys to handle a significant docket.
•Experience in litigation of patents related to technology devices required
•Member of a state bar and Patent Bar preferred
•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing skills are required.
•Must be effective working in a team environment.
•Able to travel, both domestic and international, required.
