Associate General Counsel, New York, NY
AIG Technolgies,Inc: Technology transactional attorney with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience with a large law firm in a technology transactional or IP practice, or in an in-house technology group of a Fortune 100 company, to advise AIG, and its member companies, on a wide range of transactional matters, including the following: negotiating and drafting software license and development agreements, outsourcing agreements, joint development agreements, hardware purchase agreements and disaster recovery agreements. The outsourcing candidate should hold a law degree from a top twenty accredited American law school and be a member of the New York Bar. While credentials will not be the only determining factor in the decision, only exceptional candidates will be considered.
It will be desirable for the successful candidate to have the following background.
- Intellectual property related matters
- Information Security;
- Privacy
-Corporate transactional experience (general corporate and mergers and acquisitions) a plus.
The new attorney will be joining the AIGT Law Department. The new attorney must be a self-starter who enjoys working hard and is looking for an opportunity to work in a fast paced environment that presents sophisticated legal issues and complex deal work. There is heavy one-on-one contact with members of AIGT’s senior management. Members of the law department are actively sought out form their legal and business advise and help in all areas of AIGT’s business. It is critical that the successful candidate be able to respond to legal questions promptly and concisely and have outstanding oral as well as written skills.
